Before and After, JULY '11

the rosebushes are consumed by the wild,- mint, sage, rhubarb, raspberries, petunias, bushes i have yet to learn the names of. the sentiment of this place hit me unexpectedly, and its beauty in full bloom and decay, struck the saddest place in me. i didn't know either dwelling existed in such neglected corners of my heart, where love can no longer be tamed within me, but become feral and flourish in the forgotten.
