to drumheller, to sit on a hill. picked sage. pictures of cactus flowers and random travellers with medicine necklaces. a whiskey day, a bag full of cherries, a jar of almonds and two pairs of wayfarer rip-offs. talk of tattoos and past lovers and all the tattoos past lovers have had. bad shoes, short hair, dusty asses, legs stung by the tall grass and bushes. summer meets summer half way, in the lost, half remembered summer day.
